Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)

How the Program works?

The duration of the course shall be for 2 academic years with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.

Course Structure

  • There shall be an examination held twice a year for Diploma in Pharmacy (Part I) to examine students of the first year course and an examination for Diploma in Pharmacy (Part-II) to examine students of the second year course.
  • The first examination in a year shall be the annual examination and the second examination shall be supplementary examination of the Diploma in Pharmacy (Part I) or Diploma in Pharmacy (Part II), as the case may be.
  • The examinations shall be have written and practical (including oral) nature, carrying maximum marks for each part of a subject
  • Theory examination is for 80 marks and Practical examination is for 80 marks
  • There shall be three internal sessional examinations conducted for both theory and practical.

Eligibility Criteria and Documents Required

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 Science examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually.
